Car Show Brings Cars and Dollars to the Area

Some artists work with canvas, others, with cars, and their masterpieces were on display in Greenville this weekend.

Sunday wrapped up a three day car show in Greenville that had enthusiasts coming from as far away as Ohio and all along the eastern seaboard to get a peek. There were tire burnouts, low riders, high riders, even those that can bounce in both. Its all part of the Animated Attractions Car Club of Greenville, and this is their 12th show in as many years. And show organizers say, those car lovers can drop some major cash into the local economy, nearly 2 million dollars worth.

However, it isn't all about the cars. Some of the proceeds from the event will go towards the American Cancer Society. Organizers say nearly 8,000 spectators visited this years show.
