It was only a drill, but to students at Edgecombe Community College, it appeared to be a real disaster. Senior nursing students at Edgecombe Community College had a chance to test their emergency nursing skills during a mock disaster drill Friday. The 37 students were required to asses the condition of victims, stabilize them and then report their findings to emergency officials. The drill is among the final requirements for the students who will graduate May 6 and will then be eligible to take the state licensing exam.
