As we first told you Wednesday, the Wilson Police Department arrested Terry Clay Edwards and charged him in the stabbing death of a witness, who testified Monday in the attempted murder trial of Ed Lee Edwards. Tuesday, that witness, 38-year-old Corey Clay was found stabbed to death in his home. Turns out, Ed Edwards and Terry Edwards are not only brothers, but are also related to Clay. Sergeant Keith Pendergrass says this was not a random crime and that anyone who is witness to a crime should not be afraid to testify. Terry Clay Edwards is behind bars and will make his first court appearance Friday morning.
