What Your License Says About You

It's yet another way to help retailers identify those underage who are trying to purchase tobacco or alcohol products. But you may have never noticed it.

It's on your drivers’ license. A green border around your photo means you’re over 21. A yellow border means you’re under 21 but over 18. And a red border means you’re under age 18. State officials say this is just one of the ways the state is trying to stop those underage from purchasing tobacco and alcohol.
