A dog in Arizona accepted delivery of his owner's Super Bowl tickets on Wednesday. He just wasn't so good at passing along the package.

When a courier slipped the envelope containing two $900 Super Bowl tickets under Chris Gallagher's door in Avondale -- his Labrador retriever "Buddy" mistook them for an unexpected treat.

Gallagher arrived home that evening to discover ripped, torn, and chewed-up remnants of the tickets. Some pieces were missing, scattered about on the floor.

Buddy was banished to the back yard for two nights, but forgiven after Gallagher found out the pricey tickets can be replaced.

Avondale is a suburb of Phoenix where the big game is being played Sunday.
