The eighth annual spring cleanup has begun for the city of Greenville and volunteers are needed to help the get the city in tip top shape. The cleanup runs until April 30th. The city of Greenville's neighborhood services and public works department will provide volunteer groups with trash bags, safety vests and gloves. You can grabs those goods from the public works department at 1500 Beatty Street. The city wants to remind the public to separate trash into piles in categories such as: recyclable, fine vegetation, limbs and sticks, and junk like furniture, boxes, paper, and miscellaneous items.
