(NBC News) Vigils and tributes continue for 15-year-old high school cheerleader Adrian Broadway of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Early Saturday Adrian was riding around with six of her classmates from McClellan High School, when they decided to prank another student who had earlier pulled a prank on them.
They drove to a home and threw eggs, toilet paper and mayonnaise on a car that was parked there.
The teenagers did not know how the man who lived there would react.
As the car of teens pulled away, he opened fire on them, striking Adrian in the head, and another student in the arm.
The suspected shooter, 48-year-old Willie Noble is still behind bars on charges that include first degree murder.
Classes resumed Tuesday and so did the plans for the school's homecoming, where Adrian Broadway was supposed to sit on the freshman homecoming court.
The seat will remain empty with a black sash.
