Stopping the Violence

Video will be available shortly.

Community organizations is Pitt County say they have had enough with gun violence in their neighborhoods. This in light of several shootings in recent weeks as well as Tuesday night's shooting in Ayden. The Pitt County Chapter of the NAACP says they have been meeting with residents, religious leaders, as well as the Boys and Girls Club of Pitt County. They say the idea is to educate the community and come up with ways to strengthen laws concerning gun violence. The leaders of the Pitt County Chapters of the NAACP and the Boy's and Girl's Club agree stronger gun control laws may be another solution in stopping the violence.
