The first wave of the baby boomers is getting ready to retire and that means the federal government has a lot to get ready for. Wednesday at Beaufort County Community College, 65 representatives from across the region met for a Pre-White House Conference on Aging to discuss issues, concerns and needs of our aging population demographic. The input gathered from Wednesday's conference will be submitted to the National White House Conference on Aging which will be held October 23 through 26 in Washington D.C.
