A traffic stop in Wayne County netted authorities $15,000 in counterfeit clothes and two arrests.

The sheriff's Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team stopped a vehicle Monday evening near Stoney Creek Baptist Church.

In the vehicle deputies found counterfeit footwear, blue jeans, shirts, sweatshirts and jackets.

Charged with criminal use of counterfeit trademark are Michael Collie of LaGrange and Curtis Jones of Goldsboro.

Deputies says the Secretary of State's Trademark & Counterfeiting Division is assisting Wayne County in the investigation.
