Eastern Carolinians came through in a big way this weekend. Try hundreds of thousands of ways! Thanks to all of you, Oldies 107.9 raised $603,000 for the Children's Miracle Network.
More than 1300 pledges were called in during the 8th Annual CMN Radiothon over a course of three days. Organizers say most callers made their donations through 12 by 12 pledges. Rhonda James, the coordinator of the local Children's Miracle Network says this is an excellent start for this year's $1.5 million goal. Don't worry, you'll have another chance to make a difference in a child's life. WITN-7 will also be a part of the Children's Miracle Network broadcast. It takes places on June 4 and 5.
