A tragic story out of Wayne County after a high school student drowns over the weekend while on a school trip to South Carolina. Authorities say the 16-year-old sophomore at Spring Creek High School drowned Saturday while swimming in the Atlantic Ocean off Myrtle Beach. He was there for a weekend trip with the school's band and choir. So far the Coast Guard has not been able to locate the student's body. Counselors were at the school Monday to help students cope with the loss.
