It was culture that had hundreds of funseekers finding their way to the Washington Montessori Public Charter School in the city of Washington Saturday as the school celebrated their 5th Annual International Kidsfest.
The school of about 150 kindergarten through 7th grade students and their family members and friends celebrated together highlighting various cultures that make up their school family. Hand-made crafts, delicious foods, and fabulous music ran from 11 Saturday morning until the education and fundraising event wrapped up around 3 p.m. Participants say the money raised goes to support the progression of the school.
