Martin County sheriff's deputies have arrested another student in the handgun incident at Roanoke High School Thursday.
Sixteen-year-old Elmer Goss III was arrested around 8 p.m. Thursday night and charged with possession of a hand gun on school campus. His arrest came after Cornelius Roberson was taken into custody, when police say Roberson brought a Colt 25 automatic handgun to school.
Officials say Roberson brought the gun to school and gave it to Goss, who then kept it for most of the day.
