Pollen Will Hang Around for a While

Video will be available shortly.

Trees are pollinating, causing those who suffer from allergies to be just plain miserable! Just about everywhere you look, everything is covered in pollen. Pitt County Agricultural agent Sam Uzzell says the pollen you see is wind driven pollen that comes from all types of forest trees like oak, and pine. Uzzell goes on to say there is one thing that will give us some much needed relief; rain and lots of it. The pollinating season for wind driven pollen typically starts in March and ends in May.
