The Greenville Police Department and the Pitt County Sheriff's Office are joining forces to investigate a string of home invasions and robberies that began last Wednesday. Since then four home invasions have been reported. Authorities are trying to figure out if these cases are related. However, the sheriff's department has made one arrest. Jason Eugene Davis, 22 years old, is accused of robbing a home in the county and physically attacking the owners. Also, Greenville Police are investigating several burglaries, as well as an attempted strong armed robbery at the Wachovia ATM on Washington Street over the weekend.
