Pope John Paul's legacy is being remembered in prayer houses, synagogues, and churches a little closer to home.
In Washington Sunday morning mass was held at the Mother of Mercy Catholic Church around 10 a.m. where words of the Pope's greatness were uttered in prayer and in sermon throughout the morning. Though the world will continue to mourn his death some followers say even after this tearful farewell, there is a ray of happiness in his passing, the life they believe he'll live with God.
Father Arturo Cabra adds that even when a new pontiff is chosen, Pope John Paul II's example can never duplicated.
