The Rocky Mount broker under investigation on allegations he scammed hundreds of retires out of millions of dollars was scheduled to appear in court Monday in the Nash County town of Nashville. Joe Jones faces drug charges after police say they found marijuana, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia in Jones's Rocky Mount office when Secretary of State officers raided it on September 15. Monday though, Jones's lawyer could not make it court, so Jones was not there either. Jones is due to appear in court Wednesday morning.
