Lawmakers in Raleigh plan to take another look at a state lottery. House Speaker Jim Black said Thursday he's planning to appoint only lottery supporters to a special committee charged with giving support to a proposed lottery bill. The measure could be ready within the next two weeks. Black said North Carolina already has a lottery, just none of the benefits.
