Coastal Congressmen Fight for Sand Management Money

Congressmen on the coast are banding together to fight for more federal money to manage sand on America's beaches. President Bush's budget would cut federal spending in half starting next year, for beach nourishment projects. But a new bi-partisan effort is trying to get that money back. But opponents say the federal government can't afford to do sand management projects, where Uncle Sam pays up to 75 percent of the cost of those multi-million dollar jobs.
