A mother who authorities say abducted her two children right after Thanksgiving, has been arrested in Georgia.

Pitt County authorities have now started the legal proceedings to bring Demetria Taylor back to North Carolina.

Taylor is accused of not bringing her 3 and 4 year old girls back from a scheduled visit. The children were found November 29th in Smyrna, Georgia.

Authorities in Cobb County, Georgia say on Sunday they spotted a man and a woman arguing in front of a gas station. After checking their ID's they quickly discovered Taylor was wanted back here in North Carolina.

She's being held on a fugitive from justice warrant in Georgia.
