Two Washington Police cruisers were involved in a collision Monday night following a chase.
The call came in around 6:25 p.m. Monday that the patrol cars struck each other head on on Cooper Street.
Witnesses on the scene said the two offices got out of their cars with cuts to their hands and faces, made it to the side of the road and laid down to wait for the ambulance. Both Sergeant William Dale Radcliff and Corporal Gerald John Seighman were transported to Beaufort County Hospital for minor injuries and released.
Police say the crash happened as the two were arresting 37 year old Carlos Glaspie on several outstanding felony charges.
