Morning Accident Ties Up Traffic

An accident in Pitt County early Wednesday morning didn't result in any injuries, but a big rig and its load did end up flipped. The 18 wheeler, carrying a stack of crushed cars, overturned around 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Greenville Boulevard and 264 East. Traffic was slowed for a short while as wreckers lifted the truck upright.
