Tobacco Buyout: Software Still Delayed

Farm service agents say the software for the tobacco buyout still hasn't arrived. It was originally supposed to be available for farmers and quota holders to begin the sign up process on Monday. When the software didn't arrive officials thought it would be here by Wednesday. Now they’re being told it may be next Monday before it arrives. Until then officials say they will continue taking handwritten applications but are still recommending folks reschedule their appointments again until the first of the week.
