A family in Western Edgecombe County is homeless after a fire Thursday morning. It happened at a house on Highway 43 around. Officials say one person was inside and was able to get out safely. The fire not only damaged the home, but also burned two cars parked outside. Investigators are trying to determine what sparked the blaze.
