The Burlington Police Department said in a news release yesterday that 28-year-old Charles William Drew was hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police said Drew was participating in a multi-agency drug investigation that originated in Alamance County.

Police said two suspects were arrested. They said a third was taken to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Police said they did not know his condition.
