Washington County Sheriff Heads To Court

After three days of testimony former Washington County Sheriff Stanley James will soon find out if embezzlement charges against him will stand, or if he will regain his duties as sheriff. James was indicted back in August after authorities say they discovered several thousand dollars shifting from law enforcement bank accounts to his personal account. Wednesday was the third and final hearing with evidence and witness testimony. Among those testifying, the State Bureau of Investigation, bank employees and even his own deputies. The judge says he plans to make his ruling at 9:30 Thursday morning.
