The murder suicide of 34 year old Kristina Hobbs and 36 year old Michael Hobbs sent shock waves across the area Wednesday.

Now, the focus is centered around the couple's 6 year old child, who was reportedly at school during the shootings. Authorities say the girl is with her maternal grandparents, but what kind of psychological impact will this murder suicide have on her and young children in the area?

We spoke with a mental health specialist who says parents should be honest with their children about the tragedy.

She says its important the grandparents show the young girl a lot of attention and love right now, she says children often blame themselves after deaths, so its vital the child not take on any responsibility for the tragedy.
