Pitt County Plan To End Homelessness

On any given morning, at least 100 people wake up in Pitt County, homeless. Several groups in the area today say, it's time to do something about that.

Pitt County is launching a 10 year plan to end chronic homelessness today. Currently people without homes turn here, to the Greenville Community Shelter, or to the streets. Not only does the plan aim to help people live better lives, The blue Ribbon Task Force says, chronically homeless people and families use a lot of public funding.
