Special Baseball Coming to Greenville

Take me out to the ball game can be the song for any baseball fan, but for those with disabilities, playing the game was only a dream, until now.

Its called the Challenger Division of Little League, and it gives kids with any kind of disability, mental or physical a chance to take the field. The program has been around since 1989, but this is the first year for little leaguers in Greenville. Registration has already started and organizers say its a win-win situation for everyone involved.

You can still register your child for the Challenge League from Monday through Wednesday of next week from 6 to 8 in the evening at the Teen Center off of Greenville Boulevard, and there's also a late registration if you can't make it there.
