A missing persons mystery from Eastern Carolina is getting some national attention.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is now helping in the search for 15-year-old Heather Roberts and her grandmother, Gail Haddock Dail, who disappeared last month. The organization is distributing a poster and has it posted on its Web site.
The group also conducts its own investigations.
Dail was last heard from in a phone call her estranged husband says she made to him December 7 saying she and Heather were drowning.
