A sixth grade girl from Wilson showed her flare for football in the national Punt, Pass, and Kick competition this weekend.
Leslie Finch placed second overall in her group for 10- and 11-year-old girls in the competition run by the NFL. She was one of just four finalists in the country in her category, whittled down from 3,500,000 kids in all categories.
Leslie tells us she won tons of NFL gear, a trip to the finals in Pittsburgh, and a football autographed by the Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback, Donovan McNabb.
