A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7am on Saturday for Beaufort, Mainland Hyde, Martin, Outer Banks Dare, Tyrrell, Washington and western Dare County. The threats are black ice and slick roadways.

But even under the frosty conditions it was business as usual for Jonathan Monty who owns Crystal Clear Carwash in Washington. Monty says besides uncomfortable working conditions, winter weather also slows down business.
