Money Headed to Airport

Craven Regional Airport is getting a facelift. And it's an expensive one. Resurfacing a primary taxiway and updating the airport master plan are just two of the ways officials at Craven County Regional Airport in New Bern will spend a $900,000 Federal Aviation Administration grant. And there may be more dollars on the way. Airport manager Larry Scantlin says the $900,000 is just an estimate. He says another element the funding may be used for is additional paving and drainage of the airfield.
