Another deadline, another letdown for a group of investors in Rocky Mount. We've been following their stories for months and told you how the retirees say they lost their life savings after investing with financial advisor Joe Jones.
They tell us Tuesday was another deadline Jones said they would get money back on this date. But we spoke with victims Tuesday, and they say they've heard nothing from Jones.
The broker is under investigation by State and Federal authorities for securities fraud. The victims say they've lost hundreds of thousands of dollars. So what did Joe Jones tell us Tuesday? He did not return our phone calls.
