Big Bath Bash

North Carolina's oldest town, the Beaufort County town of Bath, will kick off a year-long celebration next week. Bath is celebrating its 300th birthday. The entire General Assembly is coming for the festivities.

All sorts of events are planned for March 8, including a luncheon and special ceremonies. Lynn Lewis, the media relations chairperson, says it's taking plenty of help to pull it all off, including between 80 and 100 volunteers.

Lewis also says there's going to be a lot of people in costume dressed in colonial attire. We'll keep you updated on all the events.
