A chili day across the east made for the perfect time to eat just that... chili.
There was some hot bluegrass music to entertain the crowds at the Wilson County Fairgrounds in Wilson Saturday, all part of the Chili Jam. The Chili Jam is the Imagination Station Science Museum's largest fundraiser of the year, and officials were hoping to raise over 20,000 dollars. Officials say the Imagination Station is priceless for the community, and for our kids. In all there were nearly 25 chili cooking teams. However, there was also some educational activities as well including a fossil digging pit for the children.
