A cell phone tower worker plunged 100 feet to his death early Friday morning.
The Wilson County Sheriff's Department says 24-year-old John Hall Regan from Roxboro was working for Excel Tower Services in Wilson.
A co-worker was with him when he died and says Regan's safety harness was fastened to an antenna that wasn't secure.
The Occupational Health and Safety Administration is investigating.
