There's no set date yet, but fifty new jobs are coming to the North Carolina Global Transpark. The announcement was made Thursday afternoon by Governor Mike Easley, who says that Workhorse Aviation Manufacturing, a military support plant, will open a manufacturing facility creating the jobs over the next three years. The project will bring a $2,000,000 investment to the county. The average pay for these new jobs is expected to be about $20 an hour.
