Democrat John Edwards is telling The Associated Press that the Iowa caucuses showed voters are choosing change over the status quo, and he vowed a vigorous campaign into New Hampshire.
Edwards took 30 percent of the 1,781 precincts in the caucuses to told a slim lead for second place. Hillary Clinton had 30 percent with 659 precincts for a third place.
The former North Carolina senator and the current New York senator trailed Illinois Senator Barack Obama who had 37 percent or 821 precincts.
