Schulyer Adams of Jacksonville will never forget the day she turned 12. That's because it happened on 12/12/12.
Schulyer, the daughter of a local Marine and his wife, says she knows it's a pretty interesting birthday to celebrate, and she's getting a lot of attention for it. But instead of soaking it all up- she's asked people donate to one of the causes near and dear to her heart: animal rescue.
Schulyer spent some time volunteering with Possumwood Wildlife Sanctuary and in lieu of birthday gifts, she asked for donations to the facility.
