Winter weather returned to Eastern Carolina Wednesday, bringing with it a swirl of snow flurries in several places.
We've had flurry sightings from the Outer Banks and northern counties like Northampton.
By early Thursday morning, temperatures could fall to near 20 degrees, ushered in on windy conditions.
Those windy and dry conditions have prompted a Red Flag Warning for much of Eastern Carolina.
The warning means that low relative humidity and gusty winds will increase fire potential.
