A father from Onslow County is wanted for felony child abuse involving his 15 day old son.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office says 22 year-old Paul Conway Buckley Junior of Sneads Ferry abused his son so severely he had brain hemorrhaging and dislocated ribs.

Sheriff's deputies were called to Onslow Memorial Hospital December 26th to investigate a child abuse complaint. Deputies who responded said the 15 day old
victim had bruises on his face and a broken left arm. The child was transported to Pitt Memorial Hospital due to the severity of the injuries.

Lawmen say the child's parents said the baby fell to the floor while Buckley was changing his diapers.

I personally know this Paul Buckley accused of Child abuse. this is his second child and their has been no other reports or even charges of abuse in his "family history". I'm not saying he's innocent by any means however, he is INNOCENT until proven guilty in this great country that we pay taxes in. Until the case is has been closed we should look to our inner selves to see what we would do in a situation of "neglet" other than "abuse". IF found Guilty I hope he rotts in prison but it is not my place to pass judgement.

So many people, and I say "people" with a lot of reservation, had children and have no clue how to properly care for them. Parenting classses are fine, but if you are no FULLY prepared for children. DON'T HAD ANY!

This man, I hesitate to use that word, has Satan in him. If he abused this child he has likely abused in the past or will do so in the future unless in prison. And where is Mom? I understand, truly I do, that you can be terrified of such an abusive person. But to not remove your child, your 15-day old infant, from such a situation????? God watches over the smallest of us, babies who cannot protect themselves; babies who are left to be tended by loving, nurturing, and caring hands and hearts. I pray for the full recovery of this child of God.

this is a very sad story! why are so many people abusing these babies! there's a better way out from being a parent. PROTECT YOURSELF! this baby is only 15 days old...not even a month. He need to be charged with attempt murder!
