The WITN-7 Sports department has confirmed that East Carolina University men's basketball coach Bill Herrion has been fired. With a record of 8 and 17 so far this season, and an overall mark of 69 and 96 in his six seasons here, ECU Athletics Director Terry Holland asked Herrion to step down at the end of the season.
