Temperatures overnight Wednesday may go below freezing in some spots raising the concern for black ice.
Some roads in eastern Carolina remain wet from all of the rain Wednesday. If temperatures in those areas go below 32 degrees black ice could form.
Meteorologist Jamie Arnold says areas of concern are from Greenville to Rocky Mount from around 2:00 a.m. through the morning rush.
Black ice is when the roadways just look wet but are actually icy.
