UNC-TV viewers will get a chance before the rest of the country to see Governor Mike Easley's skills as a woodworker.
The governor appears in the December 29 episode of "The Woodwright's Shop," taped in October at show's home studios in Research Triangle Park. In the Saturday afternoon show, Easley and host Roy Underhill are working on a walnut table.
The show airs on public television in more than 200 television markets, but UNC-TV spokesman Steve Volstad said Friday that out-of-state markets won't see Easley's episode until next fall.
