Parents in Pitt County are expected to flood a school board meeting next week that could determine where their kids go to school. The new Creekside Elementary School, being built near South Central High School, means the school board is looking at redistricting for elementary schools. Pitt County school officials expect lots of parents to attend the meeting because they say a child's school is a critical part of their lives. The school board will meet on Monday at the Shriners Club on Old Tar Road in Winterville at 7:30.
