Man Dies After Riding Roller Coaster At Disney World

A Florida man is dead after riding a roller coaster at Walt Disney World. Police say 44-year-old Jeffery Reed was given CPR and pronounced dead at a hospital after he was found unresponsive today on the Expedition Everest ride in the theme park's Animal Kingdom.

The ride, which includes an 80-foot drop, simulates a runaway
train barreling through the Himalayas.

An Orange County sheriff's spokesman says an autopsy is planned
as they try to figure out if Reed had a previous medical condition.

Inspectors found that the ride was working properly, but Disney
kept is closed during the investigation.

Before Reed's death, at least 15 people have died at Disney
theme parks in Florida and California since 1989. Some had previous
health conditions.
