Pitt County Athletes Must Take Drug Tests

Pitt County athletes will have to take random drug tests before spring sports begin.

Monday the school board unanimously voted on a new drug testing policy at DH Conley High School. Each student and his or her parent must sign a written consent form before they can participate in athletics. A minimum of one drug test must be administered for each sport. The principal may order additional random tests. The policy will be enforced this spring.
