What was once old and falling apart is now new again. A brand new apartment complex in Kinston is now open and ready for new tenants. The Nantucket Loft apartments has 28 apartments that feature spacious 1 and 2 bedroom units aimed at bringing more residents to the downtown area. Besides new businesses Kinston's community leaders are in the developing stages of heritage tourism. The tours will feature the many historic sites that are located in and around Kinston.
